Crynodeb
The purpose of the CCTV and Radio Operator role is to support the safety, security, and operational efficiency of the organisation by monitoring surveillance systems and maintaining clear communication with field teams. The role involves observing and assessing live CCTV footage to detect and report suspicious behaviour, coordinating responses to incidents via radio communication, maintaining accurate logs, and ensuring all activities comply with legal and regulatory standards. The operator plays a vital part in incident response, emergency support, and the day-to-day management of site safety and security.
The ideal candidate will be highly observant, calm under pressure, and confident in making quick, informed decisions. They should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to relay clear and accurate information via radio and written reports.
Previous experience in a control room, security, or similar environment is highly desirable, along with a good understanding of data protection and confidentiality protocols. Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, is also essential.
