Sign on Bonus: £400 (T&Cs applies)
Job location: Polmont, FK2 area
Pay rate: £12.21 -£12.59 per hour after 12 weeks , weekly pay in arrears, every Friday
Schedule: Monday -Friday | Dayshift/Nightshift alternate weeks | Days Mon – Fri 07:00 – 16:30 | Nights Sun – Fri 21:00 – 06:30
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a reliable and experience Sampling Operator to join our successful client based in the Polmont, FK2 area to support daily operations.
As a Sampling Operator you will be responsible to breaking down samples from various parts of the plant. It is then broken down into target and non target material ,wood./metals ,non ferrous metal etc.
Some lifting of buckets is required manual handling and repetition .
Carry out sampling of input and output products and recording of data as directed
Maintain specific and accurate records of all activities related to quality control
Ensure that the material quality checking plan is followed at all times
Assist in the development of a safety culture at the site
Ensure the site is kept clean and tidy and all litter is collected as appropriate
Report any environmental incidents
Assist in other site operations where required
Sampling Operator- Requirements
All Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, VBA).
Good knowledge of recycle materials and grades
Working knowledge of the dispatch area
Good spoken and written English
Strong attention to safety and detail
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
