Industrial Cleaning
Sign on Bonus: £400 (T&Cs applies)
Job location: Polmont FK2
Pay rate: ££12.21-£12.59 (after 12 weeks) per hour weekly pay, every Friday
Shift pattern:
Night Shift: Sunday - Thursday, start 21:00 pm
Day Shift : Monday - Friday start 7am
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Industrial Cleaning to work with our client, who is a Waste Management specialist, based in Polmont, FK2 area.
As an Industrial Cleaner, you will be responsible for heavy duty industrial cleaning & maintenance tasks like the removal of recyclable material and non-recyclable materials using industrial vacuums, pressure washers & shovel to clean the plant and surrounding area. This position involves physically demanding tasks, such as standing for extended periods, lifting, and using heavy specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals to remove dirt, debris, and residues from machinery, floors, walls, and other areas within the facility.
Industrial Cleaner - Responsibilities
Operate heavy-duty equipment as trained and authorised to do so
Cleaning of large-scale spaces and heavy machinery or equipment
Ensure that the working environment is kept clean, tidy and free from hazards, and that materials are stored safely at all times
Use pressure washers and industrial vacuums to clean the plant, machinery and surrounding area
Removing hazardous materials to ensuring optimal functionality of machinery
Understand and follow procedure for segregating various materials and tipping zones
Industrial Cleaner - Requirements
Good physical condition to handle the demands of the role
Punctuality, reliability, and flexibility
Ability to spend a significant amount of time on your feet
