Crynodeb
Promote a patient centred approach to care delivery by assisting patients in all daily living activities, as required by the nursing team and the patients care requirements. Ensure patient comfort, dignity and privacy is maintained at all times and report any concerns to the nursing team. Assist in the monitoring of patients blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, peak flow and oxygen saturation on completion of the internal training day and competency pack. Obtain specimens of body fluids as requested by the qualified nurse on completion of the internal training day and competency pack Assist in emergency situations, following appropriate training. Escort patients to hospital and other appointments.
