On average our Outpatients department in our unit based at the Royal South Hants hospital, Southampton are seeing and treating 1,500 patients per month and this number is set to grow even further! Due to the ever-increasing number of treatments and care we are offering, our very active outpatients department has additional requirements for Healthcare Assistants to join and be part of our focused, friendly, professional and supportive Outpatients team. What would you say are the primary responsibilities of a Healthcare Assistant working in an outpatients department? As a knowledgeable Healthcare Assistant, what extended healthcare skills would you say you have? Would you like the chance to play your role as part of a committed and focused team? The Healthcare Assistants will be hands-on, supporting Doctors, registered Nurses and other professional staff with the overall responsibility for all patients within the outpatient department. These are permanent positions, working a 4-day week shift patterns will be from Monday to Saturday 3 days from 08:00 to 18:00 1 day from 08:00 to 17:30
