Position: FLT Counterbalance Driver
Location: Rochester, Kent.
Salary: £16.89ph
Hours: Rotating Days and Nights (3 days working, 1 day off, 3 nights working, 3 days off). Day shift 0630 to 1830 / Night shift 1830 to 0630
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently to move goods around the yard and plant.
Load and unload deliveries with precision.
Ensure all products are stored in the correct location and are easily accessible.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment.
Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
When there is no FLT duties, other work such as cleaning and helping in the plant will be involved.
Essential Requirements:
Valid FLT Counterbalance license (must be accredited and in-date).
Previous experience in operating a Counterbalance FLT.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
