We are currently seeking Multiple Experienced Class 1 Drivers for our client based in the Medway area,
A Minimum of One year Class 1 driving experience is required for this role. This is a Straight Permanent Role with the company. This is a great Role for anyone who wants to broaden their current skillset!!
About this role: This is not a Multi-drop role, you will only be doing 2-3 drops per day For this role you will be delivering Fruit to distribution centres across the UK You will be carrying out various trailer work; including chilled refrigerators, curtain siders, low loaders and containers. This role can include long distance journeys which may mean spending occasional nights away from home. An additional Bonus allowance will be paid for overnight stays! You must be able to commit to a flexible and often unsociable working pattern and hours You will be required to load/unload your vehicle via pump truck/ forklift on occasion, full training will be provided for free! There will be some manual handling involved in this role You will be provided with training to gain a PSV (Minibus licence) to drive the 30 seater company Bus on occasion, an additional Bonus will be paid for driving the 30 seater bus!! This is a straight Permanent role with the company!
Rates of pay:
£17.36 for the first 40 hours
£21.70 after 40 hours
An additional allowance paid for overnight stays
Additional bonus paid for driving of 30 seater buses
The hours you would work:
An average of a 55 hour working week comprising of a rolling shift pattern of 5 on 1 off (week one) and 5 on 2 off (week 2). Please note, this averages as 1 in 12 full weekends off)
Additional Perks of this Role:
- The company will provide you with training to gain a PSV (Minibus licence) to drive their 30 seater company Bus on occasion, an additional Bonus will be paid for driving the 30 seater bus!!
- They will provide you with full training on how to operate a Forklift and Pump truck.
