The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience at our client site in Newcastle upon Tyne.
This role is responsible for performing a range of reception, administrative, organisational, and secretarial duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the building.
Job Description
Working Monday to Friday, you will manage incoming calls, greet guests, coordinate meeting room bookings, handle post and deliveries, and provide general administrative support to both the facilities and client teams.
You’ll be expected to maintain a high standard of presentation and professionalism at all times, upholding the values of both ISS and the client.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, approachable, and organised, with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Manage building access and ensure a clean, welcoming reception area
Handle all incoming calls, messages, and mail distribution
Maintain fob access system, fire registers, and parking allocations
Oversee stock levels of stationery, uniforms, PPE, and refreshments
Coordinate daily cleaning and liaise with QHSE, HR, and legal teams
Support training record maintenance and operational reporting
