Temporary until December 2027
Hybrid: Stopford House and homeworking. Whilst the successful candidate will be able to work on a hybrid basis there is an expectation that all staff across the planning service aim to be present in the office on at least 2 days every week.

Your Role
The successful candidate will provide critical additional capacity as the council brings forward a new Local Plan. They will play an important role in helping provide planning policy input into pre-application discussions and the determination of planning applications. They will assist with key tasks such as compiling information in relation to potential plan-allocations.
About You
If you're looking to get more experience but have a good understanding of what it takes to get a Local Plan in place, can work on your own initiative and have enthusiasm by the bucket-load then you could be just what we're after to fill our Assistant Planning Policy Officer role.
