Are you an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking primary school? Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming school in Walsall to recruit a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start in September.
Your new role
As an HLTA, you will:
- Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher
- Deliver targeted interventions and small group support
- Assist in planning, preparing, and assessing learning activities
- Support pupils with a range of needs across different year groups
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to raise standards and outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in a primary school setting
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to learning support
