Summary

Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a meaningful difference in a supportive Primary School environment?

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils’ learning, lead small group interventions, and contribute to the wider success of the school.

Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Dudley
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (with potential to become permanent)

What You’ll Need:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

✅ Hold HLTA status in the UK (awarded after completing an HLTA preparation course and assessment process)
✅ Have experience working as an HLTA in a Primary School setting (desirable)
✅ Be confident in supporting learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
✅ Be comfortable leading small groups and occasionally whole-class sessions
✅ Hold a valid DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new Criminal Conviction Check
✅ Be able to provide two references from recent employers
✅ Be available to work from 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
