Business Lecturer - London - September Start
We are working in partnership with a leading Further Education and Training college in London to prepare for the recruitment of an Hourly Paid Business Lecturer. This opportunity is expected to begin in September on a temporary ongoing basis.
The college is currently managing its internal recruitment process. Once complete, the role will be formally released to us. In the meantime, we are welcoming early expressions of interest from qualified and dedicated professionals eager to teach within the Further Education and Training sector.
As a Business Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver a range of engaging business-related modules to learners aged 16+ in a Further Education and Training setting.
- Guide students in developing key theoretical and practical business knowledge, preparing them for progression into employment or further study.
- Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback and contribute to continuous curriculum development.
- Create an inclusive, respectful and learner-centred teaching environment.
- A degree or relevant qualification in Business or a closely related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to work towards one.
- Previous teaching experience in an FE or post-16 education environment.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - this is mandatory.
- Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
- Flexible, hourly-paid position with potential for ongoing teaching work.
