About the role
We are seeking a dedicated individual for our “Boosting Advice” project, a three-year initiative focused on helping residents over the age of 65 access vital advice and support. You’ll be working within the community, building key relationships and providing a crucial service for people who need it.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Working within the community, building positive relationships with local groups, charities and healthcare teams to connect with the people who can benefit from our service.
Meeting with clients one-to-one to understand their situation, assess their needs, and provide clear, practical advice to help them find a way forward.
Maintaining high-quality case notes and contributing to reports, helping us to track our progress and demonstrate the project’s impact.
About you
Previous advice experience is desirable but not essential. We’re committed to your development and will provide a comprehensive in-house training programme to prepare you for the role.
This role would be a great fit if you:
Are an excellent communicator who enjoys engaging with people from all walks of life and can explain information clearly and patiently.
Have a methodical approach to problem-solving and can effectively manage your own workload, even under pressure.
Are comfortable using IT systems, are committed to our values and are genuinely keen to learn and develop new skills.
