Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for
conducting thorough inspections of properties to identify and assess issues related to damp and mould, disrepair and pest control.
You will provide expert advice and recommendations to ensure the health and safety of our residents and the longevity of our
properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed surveys and inspections of properties to identify damp and mould issues.
* Diagnose the causes of damp and mould and appropriate remedial actions.
* Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation of findings.
* Liaise with contractors and oversee remedial works to ensure they are completed to a high standard.
* Provide advice and support to residents on preventing and managing damp and mould.
* Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in damp and mould surveying or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of building construction and pathology.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant qualifications in surveying or building pathology are desirable.
