About the School

This School is designed for students with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and related needs. They provide a calm, caring, and focused environment. Every student is supported to grow socially, emotionally, and academically at their own pace. The School also offers rich enrichment programmes and life skills development, preparing students for independence and adulthood.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver consistently high-quality, individualised teaching and learning
  • Contribute to School improvement planning and reflective practice
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to classroom and support staff
  • Advise School leadership on effective strategies and educational resources
  • Support and lead relevant training and development initiatives
  • Champion the School's ethos of inclusion, resilience, and empowerment

Requirements
  • QTS qualification is a prerequisite
  • Deep understanding of SEN, especially in SEMH, Autism, and ADHD support
  • Strong team collaboration skills within multi-disciplinary settings
  • Experience coaching or mentoring support staff such as TAs and LSAs
  • Confident in planning, documenting, and tracking student progress
  • Hands-on experience with complex behavioural and communication needs
