Full time hours on a temporary basis
As a Resident Involvement Officer, you will play a key role in promoting and delivering our Resident Involvement Strategy. You’ll support residents to actively participate in shaping services, lead on local engagement initiatives, and ensure that involvement activities are inclusive, impactful, and well-evidenced.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the promotion and implementation of the Resident Involvement Strategy at a regional level.
- Coordinate and deliver a range of resident involvement activities, including scrutiny panels, service improvement groups, and task & finish groups.
- Act as the main point of contact for resident involvement enquiries, training, funding, and events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to embed resident engagement into local service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of involved residents and produce regular reports aligned with KPIs.
- Champion digital engagement, using online tools to broaden access and participation.
- Manage funding allocations to local groups, ensuring compliance with monitoring and auditing requirements.
- Support the organisation and delivery of resident engagement events, conferences, and partnership days.
- Gather evidence and support compliance with regulatory frameworks related to resident engagement.
- Lead on research and data collation to support resident-led scrutiny and service reviews.
- Experience in Resident Involvement, Community Development, or Housing.
- Proven ability to deliver training events to internal teams or customers.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Confident in using digital tools and platforms to support engagement.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative and resident-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
