We are looking for an experienced People and Safety Coordinator to join an energetic and supportive team based in Derby on a part-time basis. The company is a well-established men’s clothing brand with a strong reputation. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support while overseeing Health and Safety compliance across the business. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Conducting thorough risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
• Supporting and managing disciplinary processes, handling grievances, and conducting workplace investigations
• Drafting and managing employment contracts and associated HR documentation
• Providing expert advice to management on employment law and HR best practices
• Creating and maintaining a positive and safe working environment for all employees

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
• CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) in HR
• NEBOSH or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR role, with a strong focus on Health and Safety
• In-depth knowledge of employment law, disciplinary procedures, and risk assessment practices
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally

This is a permanent position.

This is a part-time role. Working hours are flexible, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Specific working days and hours can be discussed to suit the successful candidate.

The salary will be pro-rated and range from £18,000 to £21,000 per year, depending on experience.
