Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food preparation teams, to maintain high standards of culinary excellence.
Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills in hospitality and food production.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Collaborate with the Manager to develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a kitchen or food production environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation processes is essential.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
