Clinical Lead Nurse – £47,500 | 42 Hours Per Week
Our client is looking for a confident and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join their well-established care team at a beautifully presented nursing home set in its own landscaped grounds.
This service is proud of its Good CQC rating and long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality nursing and dementia care to older adults. With strong leadership, a friendly team, and a clear focus on quality, this is an ideal next step for a senior nurse ready to take on more responsibility while still staying hands-on with clinical care.
The Clinical Lead will work 42 hours per week, combining clinical shifts with supernumerary hours to support the wider team. This is a key leadership role, overseeing care delivery, mentoring staff, and ensuring clinical standards are consistently high across the home.
What We’re Looking For
- RGN qualified with active NMC registration
- Proven experience as a Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager within a nursing home
- Strong clinical knowledge and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience supporting older adults, including those with complex needs and dementia

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the nursing team in delivering safe, effective, person-centred care
- Complete clinical assessments, manage care plans, and oversee medication management
- Mentor junior staff and support development across the team
- Work closely with the Home Manager to maintain compliance and drive quality improvements
- Play a hands-on role in care delivery, ensuring high standards are maintained
- Act as a role model and promote a positive, inclusive culture within the home
