Hourly Rate: £40.19 (inclusive of holiday pay)
Employment Type: Sessional (hourly paid), Part-Time
A college in Redhill is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Level 4 Counselling Lecturer to join its team for the upcoming academic year. This is a sessional (hourly paid) position, with exact hours to be confirmed. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching to adult learners, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and structured lessons in Counselling at Level 4
- Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements
- Support learners in achieving their academic and personal goals
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and awarding body standards
- Proven teaching experience in counselling at Level 4 or higher
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
- Relevant counselling qualifications and professional experience
- Strong understanding of curriculum design and learner assessment
- Experience with SEG training and research methods is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
