Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
A leading further education college in Surrey is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join their dynamic teaching team from September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of Travel and Tourism topics at levels 2-5

Develop and assess learner coursework in line with awarding body standards

Support learners' academic progress and career aspirations within the tourism and hospitality sector

Collaborate with colleagues to create enriching learning environments, including trips, guest lectures, and industry links

Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of the Travel and Tourism programme
Essential Requirements:

A recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 4, e.g. Cert Ed or PGCE)

A relevant degree or substantial industry experience in Travel and Tourism

Proven experience teaching post-16 learners in a further education setting

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Up-to-date knowledge of the travel industry and current trends
