Travel and Tourism Lecturer
Location: Surrey
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

A leading further education college in Surrey is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join their dynamic teaching team from September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of Travel and Tourism topics at levels 2-5

  • Develop and assess learner coursework in line with awarding body standards

  • Support learners' academic progress and career aspirations within the tourism and hospitality sector

  • Collaborate with colleagues to create enriching learning environments, including trips, guest lectures, and industry links

  • Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of the Travel and Tourism programme

Essential Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 4, e.g. Cert Ed or PGCE)

  • A relevant degree or substantial industry experience in Travel and Tourism

  • Proven experience teaching post-16 learners in a further education setting

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Up-to-date knowledge of the travel industry and current trends
