Title: PCB Assembler / Assembly Operative Job Title: Assembly Technician - LED Lighting Location: Rochester Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £13.21 per hr / £27,500 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician to join a growing LED lighting manufacturer in Rochester.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in lighting assembly or electrical component wiring who is looking to join an innovative and expanding team.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble and wire various LED lighting products including linear lights, downlights, and custom fittings using technical drawings and work instructions. Perform functional and safety testing on finished products. Support refurbishment and LED conversion of existing luminaires to meet certification standards. Operate workshop machinery such as cutting saws, pillar drills, and injection moulding equipment (training provided). Conduct quality checks on components and flag issues. Requirements: Prior experience in lighting assembly or electrical wiring preferred. Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics. Comfortable using tools and handling electrical components.
