What skills and experience we're looking for

Kirby Hill C of E Primary School are looking to appoint a hardworking School Administrator to join our ambitious and supportive office team starting in September. Working Monday – Friday 8.30am -11am & 12pm-4pm. 32.5 hrs/week.

We are seeking to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic school administrator who can join our professional, friendly and hardworking staff team. If you share our belief in supporting every child to achieve their full potential and enjoy working as part of a dedicated and caring team, we would love to hear from you.

Previous office experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given on specific school programmes, however competence with computers and particularly with Microsoft Office and Outlook is required. It is also essential that the candidate must be able to multi-task and cope under pressure of a busy school office. This position requires a flexible and positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with sensitive confidential matters appropriately.

The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be self-motivated, organised, efficient and take initiative.
• Be able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Have good IT skills that can be used across a variety of platforms.
• Have successful experience of working in an office environment.
• Be committed to their own professional development.
• Champion the ethos and vision of the school at all times.
