OPEN DAY Tuesday 22nd of July at James Gillespie's High School.

Full- and part-time, permanent

Salary: £23,424 per annum (pro-rata for part-time, £12.60 per hour).

Location: various venues across Edinburgh

Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic environment? We are looking for friendly, positive, and vibrant multitaskers to join our Sports Attendant teams.



You will be responsible for:

- Delivering great customer service as a first point of contact, ensuring that every visit is recorded appropriately, and customers’ needs are met.
- Preparing our venues by setting up and taking down equipment, providing customers with a clean, safe, welcoming environment that is ready to use.
- Keeping everything clean, tidy, and presentable, including litter picking, cleaning toilets, changing rooms and windows.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure bookings are managed in an efficient and effective way in line with our standards, leading to exceptional customer satisfaction.


No previous experience is required as full training is provided, but ideal candidates will be:

- Great listeners with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to a varied customer base.
- Customer-focused, enthusiastic individuals with strong organisational skills.
- Decisive, fair, and consistent problem-solvers, able to organise and prioritise workload effectively.

Opportunities available:

1. Sports Pitches – Permanent, Full-time 35.75 hours per week – working hours between 08:00 and 16:00, working every third weekend. (A driving license is essential for this mobile post. Must be over 18.)

2. Meadowbank Sports Centre – Permanent, Full-time 35.75 hours per week – a mix of early & late shifts. Earliest start 06:30 & latest finish 22:30. Working 2 out of 3 weekends.

3. The Royal High School – Permanent, Part-time 12.75 hours per week – Week 1: Sunday 08:30 - 17:30 & Week 2: Saturday 08:30 - 17:30 & Sunday 08:30 - 17:30.

4. Wester Hailes High School – Permanent, Part-time 16 hours per week – Saturday & Sunday 08:30 - 17:00.

5. Trinity Academy Sports Campus – Permanent, Part-time 10.25 hours per week – Week 1: Monday & Friday 17:30 - 22:00 & Week 2: Wednesday 17:30 - 22:00 & Saturday 08:30 - 16:00.
