This is a chance to work flexibly, within the service hours of 8am - 8pm Mon-Thurs, and9am-5pm Friday, todeliveronline and telephonetriages andworking completelyremotelyinsupporting the work of thethreecommunity IAPT services in the East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) which has been rated “Outstanding” by Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is committed to ensuring a healthy work/life balance and a positive working environment.
In-house supervision and line-management, bespoke CPD, the full resources of NHS IAPT and the support of an enthusiastic,engagedand inclusive team are just some of the benefits of joiningEDT. Although the post is offered asremote-working, the service provides regular contact in the form of online video groups and 1-2-1 meetings/'huddles' to encourage interaction within a highly supportive and caring team. We have a monthly service online meeting where everyone comes together to receive updates on issues concerning all.
EDTis looking to recruitan experienced and enthusiasticPsychological Wellbeing Practitionerto support service users in accessing ELFT IAPT talking therapies services.The post holder willwork completely remotelycompletingautomated online triage assessments as well asover thetelephone. The successful candidatemusthave an awareness ofcommon mentalhealthpresentations as well as an understandingof the stepped care model within IAPT primary care talking therapy services.Good computerliteracy,excellenttime management alongside a friendlytelephone manner areessentialrequirementsof this role.
EDTalsodelivers a range of psycho-educational and low-intensity therapeutic interventions remotely via video,telephoneand typed text-based sessions, following NICE guidance,ensuring the highest quality care for ourpatientsand supporting therapist development through excellent supervision, line-managementand bespoke CPD. Our posts are formulated to allow for development of clinicalexpertiseinappropriate clinicalareas.
EDTis an NHS remote IAPT serviceutilisingthe most effective features of the IAPT model, delivered via digital media,tosupport the work of the ELFT community IAPT services and more widely. Using familiar interfaces such as IAPTUS and Microsoft Teams, we provide high-quality therapeutic interventions to patients across London and the Home Counties.
