The power of good for Britain.Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk (site-based role).Contract: Permanent, full-time.Salary: Competitive depending on experience, plus benefits.Benefits:5% CIP bonus28 days holiday, plus bank holidaysContributory pension of up to 7.5% employee/ up to15% employerOngoing professional developmentOther lifestyle benefitsClosing date: Friday 11 July 2025.About the RoleAs a Project Manager, you will report to a Delivery Manager (typically a Senior Project Manager) and lead the full lifecycle delivery of a contract or work package. You’ll be responsible for engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities, ensuring they meet safety, quality, time, and cost parameters.Your scope may include infrastructure such as:Park and Ride sitesRail worksAccommodation campusesTemporary construction roads and cabinsUtility networks (water, power, comms, firefighting systems)Highway works and public realm improvementsDimensions of the RoleManage contracts valued between £250k and £150mLead up to 3 direct reports and a matrixed delivery teamOversee up to 200 contractor staff and multiple external stakeholdersKey ResponsibilitiesDefine and embed work scope across governance documentsSupport budget development and reportingDevelop and maintain Level 3 schedules aligned with overall project timelinesCoordinate with Quality teams, especially for off-site requirementsDevelop and implement Programme Execution Plans (PEPs)Secure and manage resources, ensuring SQEP standardsMaintain stakeholder communications and manage delivery strategiesSupport procurement and tendering processesMonitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issuesProvide regular reports on progress, cost, safety, and stakeholder engagementApply Earned Value Management (EVM) and Continuous Improvement principlesEnsure contractual compliance and manage non-conformance and remedial actionsCapture lessons learned and promote knowledge sharingNuclear Safety AccountabilitiesThis role may carry nuclear safety responsibilities, as outlined in the Nuclear Baseline.
