Location: Croydon
Term: Full-time / Temp to Perm / 8am to 5pm, Mon to Fri
Salary: £16.91 per hour (umbrella rate)

About the Role

We are looking for proactive Repairs Planners to join a fast-paced team in Croydon. You will work closely with clients, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and supervisors to schedule appointments and ensure we always deliver on our promises.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and emails regarding repairs.

  
  

• Schedule work for up to 20 engineers using the in-house system.

  
  

• Efficiently allocate jobs to Operatives and Sub-Contractors.

  
  

• Manage complex repairs and resolve customer service issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

  
  

• Regularly update clients and internal teams on job progress.

  
  

• Maintain accurate system records to ensure real-time updates.

  
  

• Build strong working relationships with Operatives, clients, customers, and suppliers.

  
  

• Diagnose repair issues by asking the right questions and taking ownership of customer needs.

  
  

• Manage and prioritise the repairs inbox.

  
  

• Monitor job demand and resource supply, making recommendations to optimise performance.

  
  

• Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to continuous service enhancement.

  
  Requirements

  • Essential: Previous experience in social housing and repairs scheduling.

    
    

  • Strong communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.

    
    

  • Proven ability to handle challenging situations and deliver exceptional customer service.

    
    

  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.

    
    

  • Experience in a customer service environment (contact centre or face-to-face preferred).

    
    

  • Positive, solution-focused attitude and a collaborative team player.
