As a key memberof the senior management team within the Women’s and Children’s

division, identifyanddeliverthepeoplestrategyinlinewithdivisionalbusinessplansandobjectivesaswell as wider Trust strategy.



Agreepeopleprioritiestosupportthedivision,inlinewithagreedTrustvaluesandbehaviours.

Develop,lead,anddeliverfocusedpeopleinterventionstosupportthedivision’sstrategicand operationalplans,utilisingsupportavailablethroughthePeopleandTransformationDivision.



Deliverhighqualityadvicetomanagersandstaffandcontributetothecontinuedimprovementand development of the People and Transformation service.

Monitorthedeliveryoftransactionalpeopleservicesthatsupportthedivision,workingalongsidethe People and Transformation division to ensure performanceand qualitytargets are metand that managers receive a high-quality service.



Takealeadroleinsupportingthedeliveryofpeopleelementsofthetransformationagendaincluding improvement, organisational change, and resourcing projects.

Ensuretheprovisionofintelligent,timelyandrelevantpeopleadviceandsupport,todevelopand deliver solutions.

Helptobuildandsustainpeoplemanagementcapacitythrougheffectivecoachingofmanagersin the application of policies and procedures.



Understandissuesconcerningequalityanddiversityandsupportthedevelopmentand implementationof the Trust’sequalityobjectives, strategy and supporting policies.

QualificationsandTraining:

§ Educatedtodegreelevelorequivalent.

§ CIPDqualified.

§ CharteredMemberoftheCIPD.

§ EvidenceofContinuingProfessionalDevelopmentasanHRProfessional.

§ Furthereducationqualificationinhumanresourcemanagementor businessmanagement related studies (desirable).

KnowledgeandExperience:

§ SignificantoperationalHR experiencewithexperienceofdevelopingtheworkforceaspects of operationalbusiness plans.

§ Evidenceofleadingtheworkforceelementsofkeyorganisationalchangeprogrammesand devising HR solutions.

§ Experienceofadvisingmanagersoncomplexchangeprocessesincludingrestructuring, redundancy, TUPE, etc.

§ Experienceofapplyingabusinesspartnerapproachandworkingwithmanagerstodevelop services whilst applying HR expertise to provide solutions to complex problems.

§ ExperienceofdevelopingandimplementingHRpolicies.

§ Experienceofsupportingor completingmanagementinvestigationsincludinggrievance, discipline, appeals, performance management,capability,organisational change (redundancy), etc.

§ Experienceofworkinginpartnershipwithtradeunionswithevidenceofachieving organisational outcomes.

§ SoundunderstandingofHRbestpracticeandemploymentlaw.

§ Experienceofpreparingandpresenting/co-presentingcasesatinternalorexternal employment tribunals / appeals.

Experienceofpromotinganddeliveringtheequalityanddiversityagenda.
