An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Nurse to join our Team in the Head and Neck Outpatients department at Queens Hospital Burton to cover Maternity leave.
We are looking for a flexible and motivated Dental Nurse to join our busy Maxillofacial and Orthodontic Team. This will be based at the Queens Hospital Burton, but due to varying clinical activity this may be cross site.
This post is available to Dental Nurses who are registered with the General Dental Council. Orthodontic experience is highly desirable but not essential as training will be given.
This post will allow you to gain experience which will help with any future permanent positions that become available.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability in delivering a high quality of care and be able to work as part of a team. The ability to prioritise your workload and liaise confidentially with staff from all disciplines is essential.
You will be working with the departments Multi disciplinary team & working along side orthodontic Consultants, Registrars and Orthodontic therapists during consultations and treatments. You will also assist in minor operations and clinic sessions including Maxillofacial, Oncology,Restorative, Cleft lip and palate and orthognathic and ENT clinics.
