Summary
Do you hold current registration with NMC, HCPC orGPhC? If so, further opportunities have become available to join our growing team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) working across University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB).opportunities in Frailty and Emergency Medicine (ED).
Practitioners registered with any of the regulatory bodiesstatedabove, who hold the relevant qualifications, meet the application criteria and are motivated,flexibleand experienced with a demonstrable passion for clinical practice, are invited to apply.
We have a range of vacancies in the Emergency Department and our Acute Frailty Service for trainee ACPs, qualified ACPs at band 8A.
Aspiring Advanced Practitioners are welcome to apply for a trainee post at Band 6 or 7 depending on experience and post registration education. Trainees will be supported to complete a three-year MSc and workplace-based portfolio
Advanced Clinical Practice is wellestablishedat UHDB and is seen as integral to the delivery of high quality and safe patient care across the Trust.You could be joining an extremely progressive team which continues to develop to meet the needs of our patients.
Training will involve supporting you to become an advanced, skilled, generic practitioner with transferable skills and as such you will be required to be flexible to meet the needs of service. Trained ACPs will alsohave the opportunity todiscuss rotations withinrole.
As the Trust strives to providestandardisedcare to all patients admitted across a seven-day period, you willbe requiredto be available to work a full pattern of shifts including weekends.
Shift patterns will vary dependent upon area of practice at any given time as care iscentredon the service requirements.
