SEN Teacher - Specialist School Setting
Location: Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: Dependent on experience and pay scale
An ambitious and inclusive SEN school is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to join their team full-time from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a class where over half of the pupils have EHCPs, and where behaviour can present as a challenge - but where you will be well-supported by a strong team of experienced support staff.
The school provides a structured and nurturing environment for children with a range of complex learning needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties. The leadership team is passionate about delivering high-quality, personalised education for all learners and ensuring staff are empowered to succeed in their roles.
As the class teacher, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering a creative and differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of each individual pupil. You must be confident in implementing effective behaviour management strategies, building strong relationships with pupils, and working closely with the wider team - including teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCO.
You'll have access to a well-resourced classroom and a high level of in-class support, allowing you to focus on teaching and learning while ensuring every child can make progress socially, emotionally, and academically.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching children with additional needs in either a special or mainstream setting. A strong understanding of EHCPs, adaptive teaching, and behaviour regulation strategies is essential, as is a positive, patient, and resilient approach.
If you're ready to take on a highly rewarding role where you'll make a real difference every day - and do so with the backing of a strong, experienced staff team - we want to hear from you.
Apply now via Senploy to be considered for this rewarding SEN Teacher opportunity.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2024) guidance and safer recruitment standards. Overseas police checks may be required where applicable. Educato Limited is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Educato Limited acts as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.
