Neway Recruitment is currently looking for a HR Operations Officer to join our client based with Bath and North East Somerset Council.

Location: Keynsham Civic Centre (Hybrid – 1 to 2 days on-site)
Rate: £15.08 PAYE / £19.54 Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Contract: Full-time | 37 hours per week Duration: 14 July – 30 October 2025 (Ongoing, with potential to become permanent) Reference: RQ1553074 Interview Date: Wednesday, 10 July 2025

Are you a confident and experienced HR professional with a talent for providing exceptional support and clear HR guidance? Bath and North East Somerset Council is looking for an accomplished HR Operations Officer to join their People & Policy team during a key transitional period.

This role is vital in helping the council deliver efficient and responsive HR services, acting as the first point of contact for operational queries and supporting robust onboarding and recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities
Provide expert HR advice and guidance to staff and managers across the council

Respond promptly to queries related to HR operations, policies, and onboarding

Support high-volume recruitment and onboarding activities with accuracy and efficiency

Work collaboratively as part of a wider HR & OD service to maintain seamless service delivery

Assist in process improvements and project support within HR operations
