We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join The Academy Grimsby in the role of a Maths Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an established 14-16 Provision.
The Academy Grimsby are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dedicated Maths Teacher who will play a key role in supporting our students to achieve the highest grades that they can in Maths.
About the role
The suitable candidate will be able to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of students aged 14-16. You will be able to deliver lessons which are aligned with examination board requirements and have a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities. The suitable candidate will also maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, which implements effective behaviour management strategies.
About the person
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Mathematics or a related field, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification and have experience teaching Mathematics to students aged 14-16.
The candidate will display strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will maintain patience, empathy, and a positive attitude; have strong organisational and time management skills; commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
