Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a well-established and nurturing special school in Grimsby, offering either a temp-to-perm or permanent contract.
About the Role:
This is a full-time teaching position working within a specialist setting that supports children and young people with a wide range of complex learning needs, including autism, communication difficulties, sensory impairments, and SEMH. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team, delivering creative and individualised lessons that make a real difference in students' lives.
About the School:
This forward-thinking special school is part of a wider, values-driven trust committed to providing outstanding education for children with special educational needs. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, child-centred approach, and high staff-to-pupil ratios. Class sizes are small and well-supported by experienced teaching assistants and specialist staff.
The school has excellent facilities tailored to meet the needs of its learners, including sensory rooms, therapeutic spaces, and adapted learning environments. It fosters a positive and respectful culture where both pupils and staff thrive.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience working with children or young people with special educational needs

- Ongoing professional development and CPD opportunities
- A welcoming and experienced leadership team
- Competitive rates of pay, with options for a permanent contract or a temp-to-perm route
