We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team.
In this role, you will support teaching and learning in Key Stage 2, helping to create a positive, engaging classroom environment where every child can thrive. You will work alongside class teachers to deliver activities, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help pupils reach their full potential. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Support pupils in KS2 with their learning, both in class and through targeted small group work.
Assist with preparing resources and setting up classroom activities.
Help manage behaviour and encourage positive attitudes to learning.
Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and areas for development.
Support pupils with additional needs, adapting tasks when required.
Help promote a safe, happy and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Have experience working with primary-aged children (desirable).
Be patient, adaptable and supportive.
Have good communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
Be enthusiastic about helping children learn and develop.
Be reliable, organised and able to follow instructions as well as use initiative.
