What You'll Do as a Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant:

As a Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping students thrive in Geography from Key Stage 3 to A-Level. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing academic support as a Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant through 1:1 sessions and small group interventions
• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of engaging, curriculum-aligned Geography lessons
• Helping students enhance key skills such as spatial awareness, map reading, and analytical writing
• Encouraging curiosity about human and physical geography, current events, and environmental issues
• Monitoring progress and adapting support strategies based on individual student needs

Who We're Looking For – Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant:

The ideal Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant will be someone who is enthusiastic, academically strong, and passionate about education. You should have:

• A degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Studies, Geology, or a related field
• A proactive and positive attitude suited to the demands of a busy school setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine interest in supporting young people to reach their potential
• Any prior experience working with children or young adults is a plus (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering)
