The People Resilience Manager is a key post within the NBC(D) business; primary purposes of the position are as follows:

To develop & implement a robust resilience & wellbeing strategy that supports the NBC(D) organisation. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to foster diversity, equality and inclusion within the business. Create an inclusive work environment where the workforce feels valued, respected, and have equal opportunities for growth and success.
Manage the strategy to improve the organisation’s Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), while leading internal initiatives and working with colleagues to change processes, behaviours and approaches as well as supporting communications.
To champion and influence a wellbeing programme that reflects and celebrates the diversity of One Devonport. Working alongside the wider People Team to identify D&I and wellbeing opportunities for the NBC(D) workforce.
Deliver aspects of the wellbeing priorities and lead related projects including ensuring appropriate project management and engagement with internal stakeholders. Design and deliver workplace wellbeing programmes and initiatives, developing and managing a wellbeing support model with appropriate internal and external support.
Carry out research projects and lead on the development and implementation of new wellbeing initiatives, for example, mental health initiatives. Develop and promote new procedures associated with wellbeing, including the signposting of training opportunities to managers and employees. Attend events as required to promote existing and new developments.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on resilience and wellbeing matters. Increase the understanding and engagement, communicating key messages to the business.
Keep abreast of developments nationally and internationally in equality, diversity and inclusion issues and apply this knowledge to delivering the NBC(D) D&I ambition in supporting its people. Implement new ideas with innovation, creativity and best practice in mind.
To work in collaboration with Naval Base business areas to ensure the successful delivery of a resilience & wellbeing strategy to improve behaviours within the Devonport business. Building relationships across the One Devonport site.
