To suoervise the patrollingof the centre whilst ensuring the safety of the general public and their property and that of the centres tenants and owners,

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Liaise with the Operations Services Manager on day to day security issues.
Liaise with all members of security ensuring that they are fully conversant with their duties.
Inspect all members of security ensuring that they are correctly attired at all times.
Delegate other than standard practices and procedures to the Security Staff.
Provide cover for special events.
Ensure that Building Fire Prevention Policy and the weekly check of fire equipment is carried out, ensuring that the correct reporting procedures are adhered to with regard to faulty equipment.
Assist with the training of new employees.
Ensure that a high level of Customer Care assistance is achieved.
Improve and develop interpersonal skills as required.
To liaise with and assist the Emergency Services when required to do so.
To carry out all procedures and duties in conjunction with the Security Manual.
To be aware of the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and carry out your duties in accordance with its requirements.
