Crynodeb
We have a part time 20 hr permanent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to join our library service.
The successful candidate will be based at Wakefield Library and will have direct management responsibility of 15 Customer Service Assistants. You will be responsible for Health and Safety compliance, staff rotas, monitoring and reporting incidents and maintenance, stock management processes and motivating your team to ensure Wakefield Library provides an excellent standard of customer care and an exceptional customer experience to all library users.
You will have:
a positive and flexible approach
excellent interpersonal skills
previous experience in a customer facing environment
a good standard of ICT proficiency, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software programmes and web-based packages
a calm approach when dealing with complex and stressful situations
the ability to engage and interact appropriately with senior management, local elected members and the voluntary community sector
the ability to encourage, support and motivate staff to plan and deliver activities which enhances the customer experience
As part of the interview process, you will be required to complete an interactive task which will be set in advance of your interview date.
