Crynodeb

Leadership:

Line management of Project Security Officers
Liaison with HMNB Security capability and infrastructure team.
Provide Advise and guidance to team and colleagues across Ministry of Defence.
Ensure of the projects are following processes and principles across Clyde Capital Programmes.

Security:

Drafting and updating Security Aspects Letters (SALs) and/or Grading Guides.
Liaison with the project/programme security stakeholders, the Delivery/Project Team Security Lead, DSR-IIPCSy and Defence Suppliers.
Identification of security risks/sensitivities and implementation of effective mitigation.
Advising on the appropriate acquisition strategy from a security perspective.
Preparation of security inputs to approvals submissions.
Co-ordination of effective security measures throughout the project/programme.
Management of information release to third parties and/or overseas Defence Suppliers/Consultants, including liaison with the ISAC on the security status of Defence Suppliers.
Management of project/programme information release into the public domain.
Liaison with TLB Principle Security A staff and the relevant Corporate STRAPSOs (if applicable).

Implementation of Secure by Design should produce the following outcomes:

Threats are understood and security weaknesses are identified earlier in a project lifecycle, reducing costs and risks to delivery;
Capabilities are more resilient;
Through- life development and delivery of capabilities is more secure; and
Capabilities are enhanced through the application of modern cyber security practices

Infrastructure Security

Identification of security requirements through the STaMP4 (or CMAT by exception) and OR process.
Preparation of security inputs to approvals submissions.
In conjunction with DIO, management of information release to third parties and/or Contractors/Consultants, including project information release into the public domain, e.g. Local Authority’s planning portals. All information released into the public domain, including any part of planning, must be cleared for release by the
Liaison with TLB PSyA staff prior to the purchase or installation of physical security measures.
The commissioning of the products when installed to ensure the required security effect is delivered and installation was in accordance with accreditation specifications.
