What skills and experience we're looking for
Now recruiting for a Science Technician to provide efficient and effective support to the science teachers in the delivery of the national science curriculum within the academy’s laboratories andclassrooms.
To be successful in this role you will have:
• 5 GCSE’s including Science, Maths and English
• Understanding of legislation and regulations i.e. GDPR
• Good oral, written communication and numeracy skills
• ICT literate with Microsoft applications
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workloads
• Responsible & conscientious approach to Health & Safety
• Commitment to own on-going professional development
• Demonstrate the positive values, attitudes and behaviour they expect from children and young people.
• Hardworking and enthusiastic
• Flexible approach
• Able to always follow and comply with Trust policies
• Totally Trustworthy
• Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the role
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including children, young people, colleagues, parents/carers, Governors and members of the public.
• Have a commitment to collaboration and co-operative working
• Act upon advice and feedback and be open to coaching and mentoring with a willingness to upskill
