Are you ready to take the next step in your administrative career within a vibrant, welcoming and highly regarded school? We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Admin Assistant to join our dedicated administration team. This varied and rewarding role places you at the heart of school operations, supporting a broad range of administrative functions in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will gain valuable experience across all areas of school administration, with opportunities to develop professionally and contribute meaningfully to the smooth and efficient running of the school.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an administrative role, with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. A flexible, solution-focused approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. While prior experience in a school setting is desirable, it is not essential—we welcome applicants with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting education.
Reporting to the Office Manager & PA to the Headteacher, this key role is integral to maintaining high standards of administration and ensuring clear, professional communication with all stakeholders. Our school is driven by high academic expectations and a strong, aspirational ethos focused on transforming the lives of our students. This is an excellent opportunity to join a committed and hardworking team, united in their dedication to continuous improvement and positive impact. Although being a practicing Christian is not required, the successful candidate should be supportive of and willing to uphold the Christian values that underpin our school’s ethos.
Wolverley CE Secondary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
If you are keen to find out more about this wonderful opportunity, or to arrange a visit to the school, please contact Charlotte Wells by email.
The deadline for applications is Thursday 10th July 2025, at midday.
Interviews will take place on Tuesday 15th July 2025.
