TeacherActive is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and dynamic educator to contribute to a well-resourced and forward-thinking Science department within a supportive and inclusive school.

We welcome applications from specialists in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or teachers of General Science with a strong commitment to student progress and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)

  
  

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote curiosity and scientific thinking

  
  

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies

  
  

• Contribute to curriculum development and department enrichment opportunities

  
  

• Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and STEM initiatives

  
  

• Uphold high standards of classroom management and student engagement

  
  The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

    
    

  • Have a degree in a science-related subject

    
    

  • Be passionate about teaching and learning, with strong subject knowledge

    
    

  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills

    
    

  • Be committed to inclusion and supporting students of all abilities

    
    

  • Be reflective and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment
