Crynodeb
To work autonomously adhering to the GMC standards for good medical practice, responsible for the provision of medical services to practice population. We pride ourselves on delivering an excellent service of care whilst complying with the NHSE Contract, this involves working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team. The following are the main core responsibilities of a salaried GP. These will vary as workload dictates. Provision of care as detailed in the Primary Care Contract. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance. Effective management of acute and long term conditions. Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptions and other administrative tasks. Undertake Triage and other duty doctor roles Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance. Accepting an equal share of the practice workload by working collaboratively. Work towards innovative practice and quality improvements within the practice. Assist in the work towards completing QOF across all practices. Attend and contribute to practice meetings as required. Support practices with enhancing income and reducing unnecessary expenditure. Complete home visits. Participate in practice audits as requested. Participate in the review of significant and near miss events applying a structured root cause analysis approach.
