Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Care Home

Full-Time | 40 Hours | Flexible Shifts inc. Nights & Weekends
Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to lead a new children’s home? This is your opportunity to launch and manage a brand-new Ofsted-regulated residential service supporting young people aged 8–18 with complex emotional and behavioural needs (EBD/BESD).
Registered Manager – Key Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of home setup and daily operations
Supervise and develop care staff to deliver high-quality care
Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards
Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and behaviour support
Liaise with local authorities, professionals, and families
Manage budgets, audits, and performance improvements
Participate in on-call duties and work flexibly across the week
Registered Manager – What You’ll Need:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willing to complete within 6 months)
At least 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
1+ year experience in a Registered Manager or senior supervisory role
In-depth knowledge of Ofsted, safeguarding, and childcare legislation
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A clear passion for making a difference to vulnerable young people
