Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or Team Leader in children’s residential care? Join a dedicated team supporting children and young people with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours in a safe, structured home environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Deputy Manager to play a key role in leadership, care planning, and staff development, ensuring high standards and positive outcomes for young people.
Deputy Manager – Key Responsibilities:
Support the Registered Manager in daily operations.
Lead and supervise shifts and staff teams.
Help manage safeguarding, care plans, and risk assessments.
Promote a safe, nurturing, and compliant environment.t
Assist with Ofsted inspections, audits, and rota planning.
Deputy Manager – What We’re Looking For:
Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in a children’s residential setting
Prior experience as a Deputy Manager (preferred)
Strong understanding of Ofsted, safeguarding, and children’s care legislation
Confident, compassionate, and IT-literate leader
