The successful candidate will have completed sub-specialist training in diagnostic neuroradiology and will be expected to substantially contribute to the neuroradiology reporting workload. Efficient and safe handling of inpatient and emergency workload, are key priorities. The work can also include advanced CT and MR imaging in the form of physiological perfusion imaging, diffusion tensor imaging. There will be opportunities to contribute to the paediatric neuroradiology and spinal injection services. The successful candidate will be expected to make a significant contribution to training as well as to work with the divisional team to help manage the service effectively. There is a strong focus on training, and our radiology training scheme is highly regarded, with just over 65 trainees currently in post, many in sub-specialty training. The appointee will also be expected to play an active role in trainee supervision and close liaison with clinical staff.
