Job Description:

Purobuild have partnered with a leading, multidiscipline consultancy who are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their team in Manchester. This consultancy are an award winning company specialising in sustainable building design and engineering. The successful candidate will join a well established team, playing a crucial role in driving sustainability initiatives across various projects, focusing on building certifications and embodied carbon.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage sustainability assessments and certifications, including BREEAM and other relevant building standards.
- Conduct detailed carbon lifecycle assessments using One Click LCA software to evaluate and minimize environmental impacts.
- Prepare comprehensive whole life carbon reports, providing insights and recommendations for sustainable development.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to integrate sustainability strategies into project planning and execution.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in sustainability practices and building certifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior consultants and project teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in sustainability consulting, with a strong focus on BREEAM and building certifications.
- Essential to the role that you have a BREEAM Assessor qualification
- Expertise in carbon lifecycle assessments and proficiency in using One Click LCA.
- Ability to produce detailed and accurate whole life carbon reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Relevant degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
