The Pharmacy Clinical Trials service at Barts Health has seen significant investment over the last few years and the evolving team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants manage an ever expanding portfolio of clinical trials. We have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacy technician to join the team and develop skills within clinical research.
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person who has proven organisational and
communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. You will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of trials being run at Barts Health, and ensure they are being managed according to the regulatory requirements for research.
This is a permanent position, based at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, however, post holders may be expected to travel across all Barts Health sites on occasion.
The role is full time, Monday-Friday (with additional weekend and bank holiday commitments). Full training and development opportunities will be provided

The principal objective of this role is to ensure the timely set up, effective maintenance and delivery of all clinical trials on site. The post holder will be expected to:
• Manage the efficient and smooth running of processes associated with clinical trials at the dedicated site
• Support the pharmacy clinical trials team to ensure all documentation including standard operating procedures are relevant, in date and according to GCP/GMP requirements
• Develop and maintain systems consistent with GCP and local requirements
