We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a well-established early years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious early years professional who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.
As Nursery Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations, ensuring outstanding care, learning and safeguarding standards. You will lead a passionate team, create a nurturing environment for children, and work closely with families and professionals to ensure every child thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily running of the nursery, ensuring smooth, safe and effective operations.
- Lead and inspire a team of early years professionals to deliver high-quality care and learning.
- Ensure all planning and practice meets EYFS standards and supports each child’s development.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for children, families and staff.
- Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, supervision and training.
- Monitor nursery occupancy and contribute to effective budgeting and resource management.
- Build strong relationships with parents and external agencies.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and all relevant legislation and safeguarding requirements.
About You:
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable).
- Substantial experience in a senior role within a nursery or early years setting.
- In-depth understanding of EYFS, safeguarding policies and statutory frameworks.
- Confident leader with excellent communication, people management and organisational skills.
- A hands-on approach with a genuine passion for early childhood development.
